The study on building the native plant model with a total of 451 trees in 20 species was conducted to serve for study and research of students at Thai Nguyen University. The results of the initial survey showed that the survival rate of 20 species in the model had a high survival rate ranging from 70.59% to 100%, the average survival rate of the whole model was 78.2%. After 12 months, the species with highest diameter D (00) are Flueggea virosa (2.02 cm), Aglaia korthalsii (2.01 cm). the species with smallest diameter are Magnolia hypolampra (0.44 cm) and Cupressus funebris (0.37 cm). those species have developed the height such as Hopea odorata with average height developed (97.63 cm), then is Aglaia korthalsii (88.5 cm). the species with average low height developed are Magnolia hypolampra (19.84 cm) and Nageia wallichiana (19.31 cm). Pests that the seedlings encounter mainly are leafhoppers and yellowing of the leaves found only on species of Hopea odorata , Burretiodendron hsienmu , Nageia wallichiana , Parashorea chinensis and Flueggea virosa . From the initial study result, it shown that native species are suitable with soil and climate condition in the study area.
