2017
This article investigates the correlation between Body Composition Factors (BCFs) and Physical Fitness Factors (PFFs). The participants were 346 elementary school children in forth, fifth, and sixth grades in both sexes. This analysis concluded this paper as following. There are no differences of sex and grade in Percent Fat and Bone Mineral Density. Male students showed higher lean body mass(LBM) than female students did. PFFs were generally developed as students have grown up to higher grades: In detail, male students were equally predominant over female students throughout the whole factors. In the case of male students, clear relation was appeared between LBM and muscular strength. In the case of female students, Percent Fat presented the relation with LBM and muscular strength. However, LBM did not show relation with muscular strength. The effect of PFFs against Percent Fat was presented on 23.7% male and 30.5% female students. Also, the effectiveness to LBM was shown on 59.0% male and 52.0% female students.
