The structure of the invariance algebra of the time-independent Schrodinger equation for a particle in an external electromagnetic field is investigated. We show that the invariance algebra is a one-dimensional central extension of the algebra of Killing vectors which preserve an electromagnetic field. Also we obtain the classification of all threeand four-dimensional invariance algebras.
