RESULTS OF RADIOCARBON DATING OF NEOLITHIC SITES OF UPPER AND MIDDLE KAMA

The article summarizes the radiocarbon dating of Neolithic sites of Upper and Middle Kama regions. Two Neolithic cultures are identified in Neolithic Kama region: Kama and Volga-Kama ones. 27 radiocarbon dates of 14 sites of Kama culture were obtained as a result of radiocarbon dating. At the present Kama culture dates from the second half of the 6 th - the beginning of the 4 th millennium B.C. Radiocarbon dating of the sites of Volga-Kama culture led to discovering 10 dates of 4 sites. Volga-Kama may be dated within the period of the second half of the 7 th - the beginning of the 5 th millennium B.C.
