Blending Behavior of a Monofluoroalkyl Phosphate Surfactant
2011
The blending behavior of a monofluoroalkyl phosphate surfactant(H(CF2)6CH2OPO(ONa)2,DFH-PS) against inorganic salt and general hydrocarbon based surfactant was investigated through the measurement of surface tension. The research results show that the surface tension at critical micelle concentration(CMC) of DFH-PS,γCMC,is 23.73 mN/m.Electrolyte,such as NaCl,can reduce the γCMC to 21.62 mN/m when the concentration of NaCl aqueous solution is 0.2 mol/L.Blending with anionic hydrocarbon based surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) could reduce the γCMC to 22.22 mN/m when the molar ratio of DFH-PS to SDS is 5∶1.Octyphenol polyoxyethylene ether(OP-10) can reduce the γCMC to 27.0 mN/m when the molar ratio of DFH-PS to OP-10 is 8∶1.
