Study of the process of alternating copolymerization of isoprene with ethylene under the influence of TiCl4-electron donor compound-air3 catalytic systems☆

The process of alternating copolymerization of isoprene with ethylene under the influence of the catalytic system TiCl4-electron donor-(isoC4H9)3Al has been studied. It has been established that the main factor influencing the number of C2C5 diads and the microstructure of the copolymer is the Al:Ti ratio in the catalytic complex. The dependence of the parameters of the process and the structure and properties of the alternating copolymers of isoprene with ethylene on the conditions of copolymerization has been studied.
