The Effect on Logistics Pure Electric Vehicle Performance of Transmission Application Based on Simulation Analysis

2018
To study the effect on logistics pure electric vehicle (PEV) performance caused by transmission application, a non-transmission logistics PEV is selected as the target vehicle with a two-gear transmission into its powertrain. After adopting the transmission, parameters of the components in powertrain need to be reached according to the design specification of the target vehicle. Based on the results from the reference matching calculation, a mathematical optimization model for the powertrain system in the two-gear logistics PEV is established, and the optimized variables of the optimization model are obtained by the annealing genetic algorithm (SAGA). Finally, the simulation analysis software Cruise is used to build a simulation model for the two-gear logistics PEV, and the performance of the two-gear logistics PEV has been compared and analyzed with the target vehicle, including dynamic task and specific operating condition task. Simulation results show that the application of transmission can reduce the requirements of logistics PEVs for driving motor and power battery, which is beneficial to prolong the drive range and reduce the energy consumption of vehicle.
