Electrical and Dielectric Properties of Zn0.8Co0.2Fe2O4

DC, AC electrical resistivity (ρ dc and ρ ac (ω) and dielectric properties (E'and tan γ) were studied for Zn 0.8 Co 0.2 Fe 2 O 4 ferrite samples prepared at sintering temperatures (T s ) in the range 1273 to 1473 K by the usual ceramic technique. The experimental results indicated that the DC and AC electrical resistivity, Curie temperature (T c ) and activation energies for electrical conduction (E p and E f ) decrease as the sintering temperature increases. The DC electrical conductivity increases as the temperature increases. It was found that E', tan δ and ρ' ac (ω) decrease as frequency increases
