The area has approximately one hectare, for several years the monoculture was predominant from 2009, it started the recovery of the area and the formation of the agroforestry system, with the planting rows of coconut trees of the following forest species: Andiroba (Carapa Guyanese), Ipe (Tabebuia sp. ), Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), Parica (Schizolobium amazonicum). From September 2011, it started the formation of seedlings of Parica (Schizolobium amazonicum) and margaridao (Tithonia diversifolia) for continuation training of SAF - Coconut Palms, in the area of the institution. Seeds of Parica, only 104 germinated and cuttings margaridao planted in the sand, 64 had sprouted. Already the 76 cuttings of margaridao planted with land, 74 exhibited sprouts.
