The invention relates to a rotating power transmission line deicer. The components of the deicer are connected as follows: a front roller box (1) and a front twisting box (10), and a rear roller box (4) and a rear twisting box (6) are respectively connected through a front hinge (22) and a rear hinge (21). A lower-half intermediate rotating mechanism (8) is connected with the rear twisting box (6) through a rear twisting box bolt (7) and connected with the front twisting box (10) through a front twisting box bolt (9). During working, the front and the rear roller boxes are fixedly connected with the front and the rear twisting boxes so that a front upper-half gear (91) and a front lower-half gear (96) form a front gearwheel and a rear upper-half gear (921) and a rear lower-half gear (95) from a rear gear wheel; a front pinion in the front twisting box is engaged with the front gearwheel, a rear pinion in the rear twisting box is engaged with the rear gearwheel; and a connecting rod (11) of a wire connecting mechanism is fixed to the front roller box through a bolt and a nut. Through twisting, the deicer solves the problem of quick deicing with low cost within a small range to a high-voltage power transmission line.
