Sozialisationsforschung als gemeinsame Perspektive von (Jugend-)Soziologie und Erziehungswissenschaft?

Zusammenfassung Die problematische Beziehung zwischen den wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen „Padagogik“ und „Soziologie“ wird in der jugendsoziologischen Forschung besonders deutlich. Vor allem von Seiten der Soziologie sind Abgrenzungsbestrebungen erkennbar, die sich gegen die normativen Pramissen der Padagogik richten und ihr damit den Status einer empirischen Wissenschaft absprechen. In diesem Beitrag wird „Sozialisation“ als integrierende Schlusselkategorie vorgeschlagen, und es werden konkrete Forschungsbeispiele aus jugendsoziologischen und schulpadagogischen Kontexten genannt, mit denen auch die interdisziplinare Verwobenheit von soziologisch orientierten Erziehungswissenschaftler(inne)n deutlich wird. Especially sociology as scientific discipline tries to distinguish from education because sociology disapproves the normative implications of education. Sociologist perspective denies education the status as a regular empirical science. In this paper the author argues for attention to both by introducing “socialization” as an integrative key category. Some concrete examples of educational and youth sociological research will be mentioned to show how sociological orientated educational researchers are able to establish interdisciplinary connection.
