The present invention is a method for producing isobutene by dissociation of MTBE, this time, through the following steps: a) MTBE synthesis; isobutene-containing hydrocarbon mixture (II), 1 or more methanol-containing stream (VIII , methanol contained in IX) (III), is reacted with an acidic ion exchanger, obtaining a MTBE- and TBA containing stream (IV), b) MTBE separated; stream from (IV) a step of distillation flow (V) containing MTBE and TBA, c) MTBE decomposition; stream (V), is decomposed in the gas phase using a heterogeneous catalyst, at least isobutene, methanol, MTBE and obtaining a stream (VI) containing TBA with water and optionally, d) isobutene separation; separated by distillation stream (VI), flow (VI) multi than 50 wt%, respectively included in the Distillation stream water from (VII), the proportion of less than 1 wt%; methanol amount, stream containing TBA weight and water (VII), as well as obtaining a flow (XVII) containing isobutene, e) water separation separated, obtaining a stream (VIII), f) return; step of completely or partially return methanol-containing stream (VIII) in MTBE synthesis. Further object of the present invention, the following members: i) the tube bundle, ii) tube plate, iii) deflection plate, iv) inner jacket, v) contains at least one inlet and outlet, the pressure resistance of the outer jacket, connected at tube bundle device having a shell space containing a liquid to or absorbed to emit vi) heat, the internal jacket, or in a slight gap without a gap, a deflection plate and the tube plate is attached over the length of the tube bundle are, where a tube bundle and wherein the liquid present in the jacket space surrounding the inner jacket on both sides.
