Charge Separation Reactions of Doubly Charged Xe Clusters

An experiment has been designed to investigate the double photoionization of Xe-Clusters. TEPICO and PIPICO techniques have been applied to investigate the Coulomb fragmentation of doubly charged Xe clusters. It is shown that the ionization can be described by an Auger process at higher photon energies and by a secondary ionization process at lower photon energies.
