Polarized light photography is used extensively in the present criminological technology and performs a very important role.This paper expounds the working mechanism and general operations of polarized light photography and its applications in different criminological businesses e.g.material evidence identification of trace marks like finger prints etc,forensic detection,mini-size material evidence identification and so on.
