Method for preparing sodium alginate/beta-cyclodextrin collaborative immobilized nanometer zero-valent iron

2014
The invention relates to a method for preparing sodium alginate (SA)/beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) collaborative immobilized nanometer zero-valent iron. The SA and the beta-CD are taken as main raw materials, CaCl2 serves as a cross-linking agent, collaborative immobilized operation is carried out on the nanometer zero-valent iron, the influence of the raw material ratio and the concentration of the cross-linking agent on the property of gel beads is researched, and according to the research, it is found that the good effect on the collaborative immobilized operation of nanometer Fe0 is achieved according to the following ratios, 4.0 percent of CaCl2 serves as the cross-linking agent, the concentration of the SA is 2.0 percent, 1.5 percent and 1.5 percent, and the concentration of corresponding beta-CD is 1.0 percent, 0.5 percent and 1.0 percent. The effect of the immobilized nanometer zero-valent iron on removing of heavy metal ions Cd2+ and Pb2+ is researched, and it is found that the removing effect is good. The immobilized nanometer zero-valent iron prepared through the method has the advantages of being environmentally friendly, safe, non-poisonous, high in reaction activity and stability and capable of being stably stored for months in air.
