История кафедры педиатрии и детских инфекционных болезней педиатрического факультета Первого Московского государственного медицинского университета им. И. М. Сеченова: краткий очерк

There are considered main stages in the development of the Chair of Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases of the Faculty of Pediatrics of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. There is determined the leading significance of the scientific and practical activity of the academician G. N. Speranskiy in the organization of this Chair. The Chair previously included in the structure of the Central Training Medical Institute, was shown since 1946 to be moved to the Children's Clinical Hospital № 9 of Moscow (now named after G. N. Speranskiy), which till to date is its clinical base. Since 1988 the Chair was transformed into the Chair of Pediatrics of the 1st Moscow State Medical Institute named after I.M. Sechenov and from 2013 it was renamed as the Chair of Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases of the Faculty of Pediatrics of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and continues the glorious pediatric traditions, introduces new forms of training doctors and student learning.
