Syndrome d'entérocolite induite par les protéines de poisson. Trois nouvelles observations Enterocolitis syndrome due to fish proteins: Three new observations

2014
We present three new cases of enterocolitis induced by fish proteins in children. Their presenting symptoms were abdominal pain (2/3), vomiting (2/3), and pallor (3/3). The diagnosis was confirmed by negative skin prick-tests, specific IgE assay and by a positive oral provocation test with increased polynuclear cells in two of the three cases. One of the three cases had a history of atopy and all three had a family history of atopy. We discuss the management of this syndrome (rehydration, corticotherapy) and the interest of individualized contact at school. # 2014 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
