Allgemeiner Staubgrenzwert: Teil 4: Spezielle Probleme und Aspekte, internationale Grenzwerte, Ausblick

Effective from September 2001 the new general dust limit value was set in force in the Federal Republic of Germany. Following parts 1 to 3 of this publication dealing with essential aspects of the deduction of these values, the exposure situation at workplaces, general information on the rules for the in situ application and on the scope, in part 4 special problems and aspects are covered. This relates to the reference period of the limit values (shift mean, short-term limit), protective measures, dust measurement technology and analytics, and the application of the limit values to special hazardous substances, e. g. welding fumes and fibre dusts. The German limit values are compared with international regulations relating to this topic. Finally a view to future developments is given.
