The aqueous resin composition, process for their preparation and their use

1995
The aqueous resin composition, obtainable by 50 to 20 parts by weight of a modified polyolefin having a weight average molecular weight from 1000 to 100,000, which has been modified in such a way that a copolymer of propylene and ethylene with 1-butene or under heat or with an oxidizing agent or radical-generating agent obtained degradation products of this have been copolymerized with 0.1 to 20 wt .-% of maleic acid or its anhydride, and mixing 50 to 80 parts by weight to the above 50 to 20 parts by weight of the modified polyolefin of at least one acrylic or methacrylic monomer or a mixture thereof, or dissolved and polymerized in water in the presence of a surfactant and a polymerization initiator.
