Thermoplastic compound for molding use prepared from thermoplastic polyurethane and rubber-elastic polymer

PURPOSE: To provide a tough and elastic compd. for use in thermoplastic molding based on a polyalkene terephthalate with an additive which is for general commercial application, thus necessarily economical, applicable for producing, for example, a thermoplastic molded article used for cable coating or an application under a similar condition. CONSTITUTION: The subject thermoplastic compd. for molding use is produced from A) 10-60 pts.wt. of a polyalkene terephthalate, B) 2-45 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyurethane and C) 2-45 pts.wt. of a rubber-elastic polymer having a glass transition temp.
