ODDZIAŁYWANIE ZWIĄZKÓW ORGANICZNYCH OŁOWIU I CYNY Z ALBUMINĄ W OBECNOŚCI UVB INTERACTION OF ORGANOLEAD AND ORGANOTIN COMPOUNDS WITH ALBUMIN IN THE PRESENCE OF UVB

2009
Albumin present in the blood circulation acts as a protein necessary for transporting the body unpolar substances. It also binds toxic substances decreasing thus their harmful effect in the organism. The unphysiological factors that induce changes in protein structure may result in decreased detoxication function of albumin. This work investigates the effect of UVB irradiation and triphenyl- (TPhT), diphenyltin (DPhT), tributyl- (TBT), dibutyltin (DBT) chlorides and triphenyllead chloride (TPhPb) on the possibility of albumin oxidation, and the influence of the trolox on this particular process. The spectrophotometric method was used to measure the thiol group concentration as influenced by both factors (UVB and organo metalics). The results show that UVB irradiation probably causes breaking of the disulfide bridges in albumine and contributes to protein structural changes. They also effects of the interaction of organic lead and tin forms with albumin.
