Bicycle component actuating device

Bicycle component actuating device (12) comprising: a fixed member (20) which is configured to be attached to a bicycle; a movable member (50) which is movably coupled to the stationary member (20); a position maintaining assembly (52) disposed with respect to the movable member (50) and the fixed member (20) such that the position maintaining assembly (52), the movable member (50) selectively with respect to any of a plurality of holding positions of the fixed member (20) holds; a movement assembly (70) (52) is operatively connected with the position maintaining device to selectively movable member (50) in a first movement direction (R1) to move, so the movable member (50) from a current stop position that to another moved from the plurality of holding positions; and a first operating element (30) which is movably mounted relative to the fixed element (20), such that the first operating element (30) in a first actuating direction (D1) moves from a rest position in a first end position, and such that the first operating element (30) in a second operating direction (D2) is moved from the rest position in a second end position, wherein the movable member (50) by a first predetermined number of the plurality of holding positions in the first movement direction (R1) is moved when the first operating element (30) moves from the rest position in the first end position, and wherein the movable member (50) is moved by a second predetermined number of the plurality of holding positions in the first movement direction (R1), when the first operating element ( 30) moves from the rest position in the second end position, wherein the first predetermined number is different from the second predetermined number.
