Impacto de la pandemia COVID- 19 en el crecimiento económico enfocado al producto interno bruto: caso Ecuador.

espanolEsta investigacion inicia con una narracion prospectiva del crecimiento economico del mundo y sus regiones incluyendo de manera preferente a Ecuador. El objetivo fue analizar el impacto que ha tenido la pandemia por COVID-19 en el crecimiento economico ecuatoriano. La metodologia aplicada tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, con la utilizacion de datos secundarios, se utilizo el metodo de tipo inductivo – deductivo con un nivel correlacional. Se aplico el estadigrafo t de Student para muestras relacionadas, se realizo un estudio longitudinal de la variable independiente Crecimiento economico prepandemia (anos 2016-2019) y la variable dependiente Crecimiento economico postpandemia anos (2020-2023). Como resultado se obtuvo que las variables no muestran diferencias significativas entre los 2 periodos de tiempo estudiados, concluyendo que la pandemia por COVID-19 solo explica el 9% de la desaceleracion economica sufrida por Ecuador, la diferencia es atribuida a otros factores. EnglishThis research begins with a prospective narrative of the economic growth of the world and its regions, preferably including Ecuador. The objective was to analyze the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on Ecuadorian economic growth. The applied methodology had a quantitative approach, with a quantitative analysis of secondary data, the inductive-deductive method was used with an exploratory, descriptive and correlational level. Student's t-statistic was applied for related samples, a longitudinal study was carried out of the independent variable Pre-pandemic economic growth (years 2016-2019) and the dependent variable Postpandemic economic growth years (2020-2023). As a result, it was obtained that the variables do not show significant differences between the 2 periods of time studied, concluding that the COVID-19 pandemic only explains 9% of the economic slowdown suffered by Ecuador, the difference is attributed to other factors.
