DEALING WITH ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES PRIOR TO FILING OF SUIT

jyjj remarks this morning on the general subject of dealing with the federal antitrust enforcement agencies prior to filing of suit has perhaps as many artistic overtones as legal. Without denying the existence of the artistic aspects, I am going to concentrate this morning on the procedural problems. Also in keeping with the topic which has been assigned for this segment of the Institute, I will be emphasizing those procedural aspects which have particular relationship to mergers and acquisitions.
