The method comprises the following steps: detecting a user selection operation event relevant to a webpage element in a current webpage in the browser client; acquiring the webpage element in the current webpage selected by a user and the type information of the webpage element; logging onto the browser client by a browser user, establishing connection with a storage server side which corresponds to the browser client, and uploading the acquired webpage element and the type information of the webpage element onto the storage server side; starting to load a webpage in the browser client, and requesting the log-on browser user to upload the webpage element in the storage server side; loading and displaying the webpage element uploaded onto the storage server side by the browser user in the webpage according to the type of the webpage element. By adopting the processing method and device and the browser client, the webpage element selected by the user can be uploaded onto a storage server, and the uploaded webpage element is displayed according to the type, so that the user can find required content rapidly.
