Method and device for analyzing state of insulators

The invention discloses a method and a device for analyzing a state of insulators, wherein the method includes: obtaining a surveillance video of the insulators to be detected; identifying the information of the insulators from a plurality of video frames of the surveillance video; performing multiframe movement recovery by using the information of the insulators identified from the plurality of video frames, and obtaining a three dimensional scene structure of the insulators to be detected; performing matching on the three dimensional scene structure and a pre-established prior model scene, and embedding the prior model scene into the three dimensional scene structure, wherein the prior model scene describes a standard state of the insulators to be detected; according to an embedded result, superposing images corresponding to the plurality of video frames and the corresponding images in the prior model scene; and analyzing the images obtained by superposition, and obtaining the state of the insulators to be detected. The comprehensive analysis of the state of the insulators is achieved by using the method and the device of the invention.
