Superior sternal cleft with congenital neck contracture and absent hyoid bone
1996
An extremely rare association of superior sternal cleft with congenital neck contracture, absent hyoid bone, partial pericardial defect and ventricular septal defect in a 3-month-old infant is presented. The neck contracture required release under local analgesia to facilitate endotracheal intubation for general anaesthesia.
