Cephalopods from the stomach contents of the pomfret (Brama japonica Hilgendorf) caught in the surface gillnets in the northern North Pacific

Cephalopods from the stomachs of 500 specimens of the fiSh Brama japonica Hilgendorf caught in surface gillnets in the northem Nortb Pacific in September and October 1979, were examined. In total, 1053 individual cephalopods were obtaioed, from which 13 species were identified. Gonatidae was the dominant component comprising 7 species.
