Nitric oxide research from chemistry to biology : EPR spectroscopy of nitrosylated compounds

1997
This study focuses on the use of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy of nitrosylated metalloproteins complexes in nitric oxide research. The basic chemical reactivity and physical properties of nitric oxide are summarized. The use of EPR spectroscopy detection of nitrosylated metalloproteins in cell cultures, in animal models of pathologies, and its potentialities for understanding health-disease switches in humans, are discussed. Standing orders placed on the book before December 31st, 1996 will receive a 10% reduction off the list price of all volumes published within the series (Medical intelligence unit) between the order date and December 31st, 1997.
