Specific features of thermal degradation of reduced and slightly reduced coals from the Donetsk basin

2002
The adsorption isotherms were obtained for oxygen and C02 on the nonhomogeneous surface of solid carbon. It is shown that the distribution functions of the adsorption sites and adsorbed particles over the heat of adsorption are different. The progress of the process under study in the absence and presence of a chemical transformation in the surface layer was analyzed. It is shown that, like the Temkin isotherm, all the relationships obtained contain logarithmic functions as the main part of the corresponding expressions, providing the possibility of a correct description of the physically representable limiting transitions.
