阐释翻译理论视角看译者主体性－以“祥林嫂”的翻译为例

This thesis discusses the Yang Xianyi's translation of the name ”祥林嫂” in the new year's sacrifice from the perspective of George Steiner's Hermeneutic translation theory, analyses their subjectivity in the translation process which involves fours steps of trust, aggression, incorporation and restitution and reveals the significance of cultural fidelity in literary translation.
