MapOrgânico: mapeamento participativo de circuitos curtos de comercialização na região de Campinas (SP)

A diagnostic of demands for the expansion of the commercialization and the access to organicproducts indicated that mapping the points of sale was fundamental to the consolidation ofregional markets in Campinas (SP) and region. In this context, MapOrganic was created formap these points, produced from Google’s My Maps tool. In the interface created, users canregister production units, fairs, consumption groups, among others. The insertion of the pointsoccurs through an electronic form, filled out by the interested party. Subsequently, the requestand data are validated by the project team and made available for public access. The map,besides the geographical identification, includes information such as location, opening hours,certification, type of product offered. In six months, 31 marketing points were registered, aggregatedin 11 different categories, in 9 municipalities of the region.
