THE REGULATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN SITES OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL INTEREST: A STUDY FOR MONTERIGGIONIAbstractThe municipality of Monteriggioni, destination of the Francigena way of elevated historicaland iconographic value, every year hosts numerous pilgrims that aggravate the condition ofgeneral inadequacy of the logistic infrastructures for the fruition of the places and theprotection of the patrimony. The study is centered on the definition of an informationsystem for the management and the correct and effective transfer of information in order tosupport the use of tourists and citizens and to enhance the material and immaterial heritageof Monteriggioni.
