大鼠丘脑中央下核 GABA 纤维终末与腹外侧眶皮质投射神经元的突触联系

Aim:To study the synaptic connections between GABA ergic terminals and the neurons which project to the ventrolateral orbital cortex(VLO) in the rat thalamic nucleus submedius (Sm).Methods:Eighteen rats were fixed in the stereotaxic apparatus after anesthesia .The Horse radish peroxidase-retrograde tracing method was used in VLO .After 48 h, the double-labeling immunohistochemical electron microscopic technique ( pre-embedding histochemical detection of HRP combined with pre-embedding GABA-immunohistochemical technique ) was used to observe the synaptic connections between GABA ergic terminals and the neurons which project to the VLO in Sm .Results: Under optical microscope , in Sm, there were large number of GABA positive terminals and few positive neurons .Under electron microscope , the sym-metrical and(or) asymmetrical synaptic connections between GABA positive terminals and HRP-retrograde tracing labeled cell bodies and dendrites were observed .Conclusion:GABA positive terminals make synaptic connections with the projec-tion neuron bodies and dendrites from Sm to VLO .
