Progress of research on techniques to mass cultivate and isolate Dermatophagoides farinae and Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus.

Dermatophagoides farinae and Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus are standard test mites used for domestic and international testing of the efficacy of textiles against house dust mites.In order to further promote testing efforts by Chinese organizations and improve standards for these efforts,attention must be paid to domestic and international advances in research in this field.Therefore,this article reviews techniques related to the artificial cultivation and isolation of D.farinae and D.pteronyssinus.
