Uso y Ocupación del Suelo en zonas tradicionalmente agrícolas de las parroquias rurales del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito, experiencias y ejes para una política pública municipal: el caso de la parroquia de Tumbaco

Since 1993, Quito became a Metropolitan District incorporating 33 rural parishes to its jurisdiction and therefore their public policies and land development. Since 1945 and many years afterwards, it was based on the “Jones Odriozola Plan” (FAO, 1998), this research was proposed in order to address the issue of the use and occupancy of rural land in the parish of Tumbaco.
