Fibroma ossificante periférico de mandíbula - relato de caso clínico

The peripheral ossifying fibroma is a proliferative gingival process in which well-defined bone metaplasia foci are found, with sessile or pedicle base, colored like mucous or slightly reddish with ulcerated or intact surface. The female are more affected in the anterior maxillary region. Then, the objective of this study is to present a clinical case of a 77 years old male patient, melanoderma, peripheral ossifying fibroma bearer in vestibular lower gingival region, surgically treated, with favorable post-operative, with no signs of recurrence.
