Effect of Chemical Fertilizer and Organic Fertilizer Long-term Application on Soil Invertase Activity in Wheat/Maize Intercropping System

2009
Through the wheat and maize intercropping long term located fertilization for 20 years, research the effect of long-term application of chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer on soil invertase activity. The results indicated that green manure will make soil invertase activity improve significantly;the next was straw, nitrogen fertilizer, farming fertilizer. The invertase activity changed with the growth stages. It was lowest before wheat sowing and highest after wheat harvest, and reduced to minimum after maize harvest.Organic manure and nitrogen combined application are better than organic manure or single application to improve invertase activity. The correlation between invertase activity and available nitrogen, organic matter, available K was not significant, but available phosphorus was positive significant. The correlation of available N,P and K was highly significant.
