HSB800강 조립H형강 부재의 휨성능 실험

Most of current steel codes forbid the use of steel material with yield strength higher than 450MPa to the plastic design because of concerns about its low plastic deformation capacity as well as lack of test data. In this study, full-scale test was carried out to investigate the appropriateness of extrapolating current “flange” local buckling criteria to the case of HSB800 from both strength and rotation capacity perspectives. The test results indicate that HSB800 specimens developed sufficient strength for elastic design and marginal rotation capacity for plastic design.
