The invention discloses a front end assembly for waveguide polarization multiplexing, which is used for connecting an antenna and a transceiver. The front end assembly is characterized by comprising an antenna waveguide and a transceiver waveguide, wherein the antenna waveguide is connected with the antenna; the transceiver waveguide is connected with the transceiver; the antenna waveguide is a round waveguide; a narrow gap is arranged on the wall of the round waveguide and used for separating electromagnetic wave in a vertical polarization direction; the antenna waveguide is connected with the transceiver waveguide and used for transmitting electromagnetic wave in a horizontal polarization direction; and the narrow gap is connected with the transceiver waveguide through a butterfly structure used for converting the polarization directions. The front end assembly is connected between the antenna and the transceiver, and with the effect of the assembly, the job of polarization multiplexing can be fulfilled only by requiring a set of transceiver device; a set of transceiver device can be reduced, and the system cost is greatly reduced; and moreover, the device is reduced, and thus, the device reliability can be improved. The assembly is a passive device and is completely formed by metal processing and assembling, and thus, the assembly is high in reliability, low in cost and high in consistency, and can be produced at a large scale.
