Experimental study on effects of burning behaviours of flooring materials caused by external heat radiation

The flammability properties of several surface materials were studied by the cone calorimeter. Burning characteristics , such as the time to ignition, heat release rate, the lose rate of mass and yield of CO/CO2, were tested at different external heat radiation level. This paper also presents some primary theoretic analysis of these test results.
