DESIGN ASPECTS OF PHOTOVOLTAIC ENERGY SUPPLY SYSTEMS FOR DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS

ABSTRACT This paper reviews the experience gained with stand-alone hotovoltaic systems for different applications in remote areas. Advice is given on the design and selection of appropriate equipment, taking into account the main technical, economic, social and institutional factors involved.
