도시철도 역사 환승시설 형태에 따른 보행 수준 비교 분석

2017
Urban railway users are greatly inconvenienced from the increased transfer time following the expansion of metro subway lines. Naturally, interest is rising in improving the user convenience for both general passengers and vulnerable users during their movement and transfers. In this study, we observed the movement behavior of passengers at Daegok Station, a transfer station between the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and Line 3 which is also scheduled for the launch of GTX and a double track train service to Sosa Station. We estimated the pedestrian Origin-Destination demand and created a pedestrian simulation model. Then, we verified the model by applying a vertical-horizontal trip system that allows both vertical and horizontal movements. The analysis revealed that the vertical-horizontal trip system was most effective in Alt.2 (between Seoul/Munsan-bound trains on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and Daehwa/Ogeum-bound trains on Line 3), reducing the traffic at transfer passageways and improving the walking environment.
