Investigation of Solute Segregation in CZT-LPVB with Finite Element Analysis Method

Abstract The Cd0.9Zn0.1Te crystal growth(LPVB——Low Pressure Vertical Bridgman) was numerically simulated and analyzed by the simulation software of Comsol Mutiphysics.The traditional model only considers about heat conduction and convection.To study the effect of undercooling about solid-liquid interface,the undercooling model and the constitutional supercooling boundary constraint model have been added.The curvature undercooling,composition undercooling,forefront of solid-liquid interface undercooling and thermal stress have been analyzed with different temperature gradient and growth rates.
