Raw material charging method to the blast furnace

2008
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for charging a raw material to a blast furnace by which, when cokes are mixed into an ore raw material and charged to a bell-less blast furnace, the radial-direction distribution of a mixed ratio of the cokes after charged to the blast furnace can be made more uniform without reducing productivity by preventing the flowing of the cokes into the center of the blast furnace and by controlling the radial-direction O/C distribution of the charge material charged to the blast furnace even if the mixed amount of the cokes is increased. SOLUTION: When the mean particle diameter of cokes is controlled to ≥1.3 times the mean particle diameter of the ore raw material and the cokes are layered on the ore raw material on a charging conveyer 8 charging the raw material to a top bunker 9 and charged to the top bunker 9, the cokes and the ore raw material are charged in a state in which the cokes 6 are layered within 50% of the top side charged to the top bunker 9 with respect to the conveying-direction length of the ore raw material 5 on the charging conveyer 8, and the raw material is charged while a pivoted chute is moved from the furnace wall part toward the furnace central part while the pivoted chute is pivoted.
