Method and apparatus for connecting a solar cell with a cell connector

The invention relates to a method for connecting a solar cell with a cell connector comprising the steps of: (a) positioning of a cell connector which is provided on at least one surface with a solder layer, parallel to a main face of a plate-shaped solar cell; (B) contacting a provided with the solder layer surface of the cell connector with the main side of the solar cell in a connection region; (C) increasing the temperature of one or more portions of the connecting portion to a temperature above the melting point of the solder; (D) lowering the temperature in at least one of the step (c) above the melting point of the solder heated portions of the connecting portion to a temperature below the solidification point of the solder. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for performing the method.
