Da ciência aberta à ciência cidadã: ampliando perspectivas de inclusão educacional de surdos no Brasil

2019
From the process of opening information and knowledge emerged Open Science, bringing more transparency to the research and allowing its results to be reused by other researchers, generating new research and continuity and unfolding for generations. Citizen Science has been a term used to describe everything from the philosophy of public engagement to the work of socially responsible scientists. The objective of this research is to analyze the concept of Citizen Science and verify the pertinence of a project in the education of the deaf in Brazil, aiming to include this linguistic minority. The project counts on the participation of several professionals and students from the deaf community of Brazil. The creation of a Libras-Portuguese bilingual repository is an initiative to increase scientific and cultural access, ensuring the inclusion of deaf people. This tool provides videos, photos, drawings, texts and lessons. The structure and layout are the result of user participation in the project.
