PPC: Conclusion and Future Directions

This concluding chapter provides an overview of the editors’ journey in the creation and compilation of this text on Positive Psychology Coaching in the Workplace. In reading and reflecting on the many and varied chapters that form part of this text by author’s across the globe, it has provided us with an opportunity to reflect on and question our own understanding of the field and it’s emerging dynamic. This chapter provides an opportunity to share our collective thoughts and present our own “fuzzy vision” or “prospection” of the many potential future directions the field may take. We also attempt to identify key themes that have emerged throughout this text that are current and discussion worthy and those key themes still emerging in regard to the evolving field of Positive Psychology Coaching.
