Analysis of 550 cases of urinary calculi in Shihezi area of xinjiang

Objective
To investigate the characteristics and related factors of urinary calculi in Shihezi area, and provide the preventive measures according to the analysis results.
Methods
Retrospective analysis of stone components of 550 patietns with urinary calculi with spectral analysis from April 2013 to November 2016 was performed, and clinical data of all patients were analyzed.
Results
There were 403 cases of males and 147 cases of females, the male-femail ratio was 2.74∶1, the average age was (50.71±15.23) years. There were 462 cases of primary, 88 cases of recurrence, 478 cases of upper urinary calculi and 72 cases of lower urinary calculi. There were 321 cases of simple calculi, 229 cases of mixed stones. Calcium oxalate stone was the most in simple stones, about 47.64%(262/550). Calcium oxalate + carbonated-apatite occupied 24.36%(134/550), which was the most in mixed stones.
Conclusions
Middle-aged men are mainly in patients with urinary calculi in Shihezi area, the lesion location is upper urinary tract, the most common stone composition are calcium oxalate and carbonated-apatite, therefore we should focus on the calcium oxalate and carbonated-apatite preventive measures.
