Indicadores de explotación de la picadora de forraje PN- Plus-2000

Given the necessity to evaluate variants of technologies, for the production and distribution of sugar cane as fresh forage for animal feeding, was this work carried out, which presented as objective to obtain the indicators of operation of the forage chopper machine PN-Plus-2000, in the Cooperative of Credits and Services ‟Guillermo Gonzalez”, Province Granma, Cuba, processing sugar cane, variety Cuba-120. For the evaluation was used the Operational Normative Procedure PG-CA-043 which establishes the procedures for the mensuration and annotation of the time of each operation during the period of work of the machine, being calculated the productivity, the coefficients of operation, energy consumption and sizes of particles of the processed material. As a result it was obtained that the productivity in the time reached by the machine was 0,86 t/h, with a coefficient of use of the time of 0,91, energy consumption for unit of 1800 Watt/t of processed forage and the 70% of size of particles smaller than 20 mm of longitude. According to the results obtained with the employment of forage chopper PN-Plus 2000, their feasibility for the processing of sugar cane as forage for animal feeding.
